Living In MoCo!!

Here all about the different areas in Montgomery County!

If you’re thinking about buying a home in Montgomery County, Maryland, one of the biggest questions isn’t just, “How much house can I afford?”

It’s… “Where do I actually want to live?”

Because Montgomery County gives you a LOT of options.

Want restaurants, shopping, Metro access and plenty going on? You’ve got Bethesda, Rockville and Silver Spring.

Looking for a little more space while still being close to everything? Gaithersburg, Olney and Wheaton give you plenty of options.

And if you’re looking for a quieter, more small-town feel, places like Laytonsville and Damascus might be more your speed.

That’s one of the things I love about Montgomery County. You can live 20 or 30 minutes apart and feel like you’re in completely different communities.

The right place really comes down to what fits your lifestyle.

Commute? Schools? Restaurants? Yard space? Walkability? Being close to family? Maybe you just want enough room for the kids, the dog and all the stuff you swore you’d never accumulate.

And then, of course, there’s the mortgage.

Before you fall in love with a particular neighborhood, it’s important to understand what the monthly payment will actually look like and what financing options are available.

That’s where I come in.

I help Montgomery County homebuyers look at the entire picture — not just a rate and a loan amount — so they can make a smart financial decision before they start shopping.

Because buying a home is a pretty big decision.

You might as well know what you’re getting into before you start looking at houses and convincing yourself that the house with the questionable wallpaper is actually “full of character.”
